The Jason-Timothy is a custom urban infill home designed for a rare find on Washington Street in Louisville’s vibrant Butchertown neighborhood. The design takes full advantage of downtown views with a rooftop terrace at the rear and a covered deck facing the street. A contemporary roofline complements the eclectic character of the area, all within walking distance of top attractions like the soccer stadium and the restaurants and bars of NuLu.
The lighting throughout the home was carefully curated to complement its modern, industrial aesthetic. Bold, geometric LED fixtures serve as sculptural accents, casting clean lines of light that highlight the home’s architectural details. Their minimalist forms and energy-efficient design bring a sense of precision and polish to each space, enhancing the raw materials and contemporary finishes that define the interior. The result is a cohesive visual rhythm — lighting that doesn’t just illuminate, but also elevates the home’s character.
Our design team had some fun bringing this rooftop terrace to life — the perfect spot to take in Thunder Over Louisville from above. Perched in the heart of Butchertown, the space offers an inviting setting for outdoor entertaining, accessed by a playful spiral staircase that adds both charm and character to the design.
